Ben Forman was just an ordinary guy, a young professional starting his first job and falling in love with his girlfriend. Living on the outskirts of a southern city, he didn't think the zombie activity so common in metropolitan areas would hit so close to home. But it was becoming clear that the mysterious infection reanimating the dead would soon be a worldwide epidemic.
Cutting-edge and culturally relevant, The Christian Zombie Killers Handbook is a unique combination of fiction and nonfiction. It delivers a fresh approach to sin, grace, and salvation, exposing the raging beast within us all, and how to overcome life as a zombie.
Jeff Kinley has found a way to communicate Gods grace to a new audience. The Christian Zombie Killers Handbook is culturally relevant, deeply perceptive and really inspires us to discover the truth for ourselves.
In this volume, you will find a gripping, face-paced zombie survival story as good as any youll read in a mainstream horror novel or see in the latest Romero film. But, youll also find a parallel commentary providing a startlingly honest insight and unique perspective on our struggle with sin. ?Sean T Page, author of War against the Walking Dead & The Official Zombie Handbook.

Tell us a little about yourself. Zombie Killers is my 15th book. I founded Main Thing Ministries in 2000 to help people reach their highest spiritual potential.
My wife and I have 3 sons - Two in college (West Point and Univ of Ark) and one in high school. I pastor a church in my neighborhood that reaches a unique tribe of unchurched folks in their 20's.
What was your motivation behind this project? To generate a fiction novel for the 18-30 crowd concerning a subject many of them are really into. But initially, the concept literally popped into my head one day while counseling someone. It was clear that this person's problem was that there was a zombie living inside him. And the rest seem to naturally flow from there.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope is that this generation will understand the nature of evil within us all through the popular and very cool Zombie genre. Additionally, though many have grown up in church, few people I encounter really understand the depth of their depravity and what it takes to overcome sin and temptation. This book equips them to do that.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? This book helped me articulate, in non-theological terms, culturally relevant teaching from Scripture about the sin problem. Though I have taught on the subject for years, the zombie theme almost perfectly parallels the truths found in scripture about our inward nemesis. It made me even more aware that my worst enemy lives inside me.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? People generally inspire me. I love movies and enjoy reading Stephen Ambrose. And I know more about the Beatles than any 15 of your friends combined. :)
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: The novel section of the book deals with pre-apocalyptic America. It involves the events leading up to global outbreak. And there is plenty of gore and suspense for zombie fans! And for my theologically-minded friends, you will be challenged and stimulated.
