Christ, Clutter, & the Calendar

Course description

Are you weary and tired of life?

All of us are too busy. We are weighed down by cares and caught up in the 'more is better' mindset of our modern-day culture - a mindset which, in reality, is causing us to be burnt out. We lack margin and are burdened by life's issues and difficulties. This is not easy to overcome. Our world calls us to avoid our issues by filling our time with everything we can in order to find success. But this is not the life God has called us to.

Christ, Clutter, and the Calendar will help you to understand this struggle spiritually. You will learn that when we walk with God, He brings resolution to our clutter and our calendar so that we can have His planned margin, freedom, and joy in all aspects of our lives. This clutter includes the physical clutter of our overloaded calendars, but also the burdens of our thought lives, as we stress about the multitude of ongoing situations that fill our lives. In creating margin, we will come to find freedom in the middle of difficulties and troubles and discover the joyful moments and new paths God has laid out for us which we would never have realized had we maintained our busy, success-seeking lifestyles!
