4 Stars Out Of 5

This study is well-organized, and I appreciate the focus on a single virtue, like thankfulness. However, buyers should be aware of segments dealing with the plan for salvation, Christ's return and speaking in tongues. These are doctrinal areas that are interpreted differently across the spectrum of Christianity. In this text, they are taught from a single doctrinal perspective and presented as the sole interpretation.
For instance, not every denomination interprets Revelation to declare that Jesus will establish an earthly reign for 1000 years. Not every denomination interprets "speaking in tongues" to be a prerequisite for salvation or the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in one's heart. These issues have no place in an interdenominational study for children. It is confusing and supplants the influence of parents over doctrinal interpretation.
All that being said, the areas of doctrinal conflict are easily excised leaving a very workable study of virtues that are important to living a peaceful, godly life. This alone is not a reason to bypass Choosing Thankfulness; it is simply an alert to future buyers who may be as surprised by it as I was.
