We start our homeschool day by prayer for persecuted christians and then for us. after that we did the choosing obedience. There were so many times that we had just had a difficult time with something in particular, when it was addressed in the study. God's timing is so good, and this study helped alot! KelSue
Jill WestNE GeorgiaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5So far, so good...November 10, 2010Jill WestNE GeorgiaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We already do a lot of Bible study in our homeschool curriculum, but very little of our current program is focused on character development as the primary goal. I wanted something that would help my daughter evaluate her own behavior according to biblical standards, and show her ways she can improve her attitude and character.
So far, this little workbook seems to be helping. She enjoys it, and can easily work through the reading and exercises on her own (she's in 3rd grade). It helps that she likes using workbooks anyway...the graphics in this series aren't particularly eye-catching. But the material seems to be solid, and it's written on a level she can process. If she continues to enjoy the workbooks, I'm sure we'll be back for more books in the series!
Jerry5 Stars Out Of 5June 5, 2009JerryWell written and easy to follow. Makes a great teaching tool (outline) for any age group.
Q: Do you think 8th grade is too old for this series of books by Kaye Freeman?
This product is suggested for K-2nd grade with adult help, and grades 3-5 as independent study.
