Here is an excellent book for women who want to develop the ability to make wise discerning choices. Through studies of Scripture and with a casual writing style and humor, the author challenges the reader to become more sensitive about applying God's Word to the myriad of life's daily decisions.... The book is divided into two parts: "Choices in Our Outer Life" and "Choices in Our Inner Life." The "outer life" section includes speech, temper, and friendship, among others. The "inner life" section covers the mind, the conscience, the nature of prayer, worship, God's Word and Bible study. Morley is Scriptural (in fact, always bringing every issue back to what Scripture says) and pointed. She doesn't skirt the issues such as emotion vs. reason, entertainment vs. edification, God's Word vs. our word....The book would make a great gift....
