Exquisitely illustrated in glowing pastel hues and watercolor washes, this collection for the ages will make a cherished gift and a longtime family treasure.

Rhythmic rhymes and lullabies such as "Round and Round The Garden" and "Lavender's Blue" are sure to amuse and soothe baby. "Oh, the Grand Old Duke of York" and other lively favorites will appeal to toddlers ready to march around the house with a drum, or pillage the refrigerator for "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream." The fun continues for children three and up with such lively ditties as the French "Frere Jacques" and "Pop Goes the Weasel," while a section at the end of the book invites the whole family to "all join in."
