Julie Lavender is an author, journalist, and former homeschooling mom of 25 years. She holds a master’s degree in early childhood education. She is also the author of 365 Ways to Love Your Child: Turning Little Moments into Lasting Memories, and her work has been featured in Guideposts. She enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Shahar Kober is an illustrator working from a very small studio, in a very small town, in a very small country. Over the years, Shahar has illustrated tens of books, but he also creates illustrations for newspapers, magazines, and animated films. He also teaches illustration. When Shahar doesn't illustrate, he enjoys the outdoors, taking care of his garden (which is very small as well!), and finding little insect friends there.
