I homeschool my children and this book was listed on the BJU website as a book to read for their grade level. Like every other book I make them read, I read it before hand so I can make sure that I know exactly how the book went. I started this book and did not put it down until it was finished. The emotions this book showed and courage of a family in persecution was surreal. Not only are my children who are assigned the book going to read this but now my older two children and my husband want to read it after hearing about if from me. Remarkable book and a must read for anybody.

This book was great. I enjoyed the way the biography began, right up until the end. I am reading it yo my daughter who always wants me to continue and not put the book down. A wonderful book on how Christians were and are to this day persecuted. This book encouraged me in the Lord and caused me to be so thankful for things I take for granted. I hope there are more to come. A great book for the whole family and one children could benefit from when things are tough in school or at home .Lynn Johnson.

Excellent true story! Very enlightening; to see the persecution of these dear Christians; and in my lifetime! Natasha and I are the same age. While I lived a blessed life in the USA oblivious to what was happening in other parts of the world, Natasha was living a life of persecution and struggling for the bare necessities. A must read for all ages!!*****

This book was a real eye opener to the lives of christian people in a communist country.We must never take our freedom for granted,our schools,courts etc,Highly recommend this book.
