Author Bio

Dr. Phyllis Kilbourn is the founder of Rainbows of Hope and CCTI, both global ministries of WEC International serving children in crisis. She is a child advocate, trauma trainer and author/editor of a number of handbooks focused on interventions for children in crisis. Phyllis also served in Liberia and Kenya with WEC International. She holds a PhD in education from Trinity International University (Illinois) and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Asbury Theological Seminary for her work on behalf of the world’s children.
