What was your motivation behind this project? Having experienced the delight of prayer as a child myself, I know the authenticity, value and results of it.
God created humans with a spirit and an insatiable desire for His Spirit! His human creation is the apex of His creative power; with the uniqueness of being made in God's image, designed to enjoy communion and relationship with Him. extraordinary value of introducing and including this daily discipline in the lives of children everywhere. Prayer is essential and foundational to knowing and growing in faith.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? -Appreciation/better understanding of the necessity, beauty, and urgency of prayer
-enjoyable, practical, creative, simple, daily practices of prayer
-recognition of children's sincere interest in and curiosity about GOD, self, life, and death.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Parents, teachers, adult church workers, and others who influence children in faith formation emphasized the great need for intentional modeling, joining children in establishing a consistent prayer focus.
