Tell us a little about yourself. I am a mother and grandmother who loves the Lord. I have been active in church, choir, and children's ministries over my lifetime although now, at 79, I am active except to pray for everyone I meet that they will come to know Jesus as their Savior.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to publish my dad's stories because they are told by an ordinary man trying to serve God as best he can.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? After I was finished with the project I realized how strong the message is of God's faithfulness even when we don't realize it. If someone is witnessing and living for the Lord they will be inspired by what happened my Dad.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The continual work, day by day, brought me to a stronger place in my life, mentally. I had been in depression and had worked out of it, almost. Dad's stories and God's blessings day by day put me back on solid ground.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My main influence is the Bible. My favorite authors are Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul to name a few.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Charles was a streetcar conductor, then a bus driver in Chicago for 38 years. He met many characters along the way. When he became a Christian he began witnessing for Jesus on the bus as he drove. Read how faithful God was in working in the hearts of those who heard his message. It is an uplifting story for those plugging along every day to serve the Lord and tell others about Him.
