soccerkidsmomAge: 45-54Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Fabulous pastor gift!November 10, 2019soccerkidsmomAge: 45-54Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5CHASE THE LION WEEKLY PLANNER from author Mark Batterson compliments his best-selling book Chase The Lion. This 12 month planner starts off with Mark's manifesto and a letter from him, and concludes with an area to write in your 100 life goals in addition to Mark's own list of life's goals for himself. Calendars for 2019-2022 are included and each unmarked month offers space for 5 week periods per month. There are no specific months or dates written in so you can begin the journal at any time, the weeks begin with Monday and end on Sunday. There is plenty of room to write in lots of information in each day's block and side space to add notes. The heavy cover is appealing to the eye with its black background and lion with piercing yellow eyes decorating the entire cover, and the regular book binding and ribbon page marker add to its appeal. You need not have read Chase The Lion but it's helpful if you have as there are quotes from the book sprinkled throughout the journal. There is also a section listing tips on setting life goals and an area to write in your own personal manifesto. This would be a fabulous gift for a pastor along with the companion book Chase The Lion, or those hard-to-buy-for people who like to take notes and plan out their days. Highly recommended.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and was not required to leave a positive review. #PRHpartner
Janet53Gender: Female4 Stars Out Of 5You can start this planner when YOU need it!September 2, 2019Janet53Gender: FemaleWhat I like most about this planner is that there are no dates on the 12 monthly AND 5 weekly calendars following each month. This lets you decide when to start it. You can start it now or any month you want. You can even divide it up into different projects each 2 or 3 or 4 months long. It's very flexible. (Mini calendars are provided so you can easily fill in the dates yourself.) There is room at the back of the planner to write goals, but if you don't set goals you can use that space for whatever you want, even a bullet journal, since grids are provided. There are grids on the weekly pages too. The planner is made of a sturdy black softcover with book binding and a ribbon page mark. The size is approx 8x6 in. The publisher Waterbrook Multnomah sent me a copy. I have to say that this planner is uniquely useful!
nkwbookreviewer5 Stars Out Of 5Contains Everything I Need & More!September 1, 2019nkwbookreviewerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Chase the Lion Weekly Planner, Organize Your Life, Achieve Your Goals by author Mark Batterson is a wonderful planner all around. It doesn't matter if you have read his book Chase the Lions yet or not, this is a planner that will benefit anyone.
I absolutely love it. It contains everything I need for a yearly appointment book and more. Mr. Batterson has thought of everything. He even starts us off with instructions on how best to use it.
The cover is compelling. Actually it is gorgeous. Men and women will find it attractive. Being a medium size, 6.2 x 8.2 inches, it easily fits in my purse or tote. The pages and cover are good quality. There is even a ribbon bookmark.
Pages are laced with quotes and inspiration from Chase the Lion. There is space for notes in the margins. Listing prayer requests, goals, progress, even things to do is encouraged. Besides months at a glance and weeks at a glance, there is a multi-year calendar for quick reference when needing a date.
The book is a mixture of planner, diary, appointment book, and devotional. It will definitely help with time management, keeping better organized, and becoming closer to God.
I highly recommend it. It would make a thoughtful gift to a pastor or church worker. Any businessperson or college student would enjoy the benefits it gives. I rated it a 5 out of 5 stars. A copy was provided by the publisher but this is my honest opinion.
TammyK5 Stars Out Of 5Love This Planner for Men or WomenAugust 31, 2019TammyKWhat a great book by Mark Patterson. But then again, that's what we've come to expect from him.
This Weekly Planner is going to be a great tool for yourself or for a gift for someone else. The feel of the book is different and is a great texture.
The inside though, is different than most journals or planners I've seen. This planner doesn't say - ladies journal, men keep looking. This is perfect for either. What a great option of having the dates in the book be blank so you are able to start the planner whenever you get it. In the beginning is the month at a glance, also undated, which I like to have in the planner. But the weeks themselves have some tools I think many will find useful, especially if you have read Mark Patterson's book, Chase the Lion. A great gift to give to someoneChase the Lion book and the Chase the Lion Weekly Planner.
Well done, Pastor.

vics495485 Stars Out Of 5Love it!August 25, 2019vics49548Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love that this planner is undated so I can begin it when I'm ready. For me it's the perfect size to take along if I want. And this isn't just a weekly planner, but it helps to set goals and track progress. With "lions to chase this week", weekly inspirations, and a place for notes when dreaming with God, I'm excited to see how the next year maps out for me.
As Batterson says, "Quit playing it safe and start running toward the roar!"
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
