Tell us a little about yourself. I'm 72 years of age, a Christian book author. I have a Bachelor of Theology, a Master of Biblical Studies, and an honorary Doctor of Divinity. My husband and I live in Florida. We have three grown children, four living grandchildren, and a granddaughter with the Lord.
My other published works are: Storms Are Faith's Workout and The Elfdins and the Gold Temple.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to do a fun story that would help people see that life can have its storms and trials. But if we heed godly counsel and trust in God's word, it can give us the help we need to get through.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? There are several points that people can gain insight into. The back cover gives some However, I feel that if people will understand that whatever seems to be evil, difficult, etc. in their life, if they love God, He can turn it into good. It is not that the trial is good, but God can use its circumstance for good in our life.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? When things started to turn for Charlie, I found myself crying at the goodness of God. I really didn't know where things were going in the story before I kept writing. I have never been one to write an outline before I write. :-)
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I have many favorite authors, but my greatest source of inspiration is the truth of God's word.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I believe Charlie would help anyone who wants to read a good story without foul language, immorality, innuendoes, etc. Charlie and the Leprechaun is an inspirational story that reveals the goodness of God!
