Product Description

Charlie and the Preschool Prodigal by Ginger Blomberg and illustrator, Samara Hardy, This story is a retelling of the prodigal son through the eyes of rule-following Charlie, and his wild-child brother, Eddie. Eddie runs away from home, taking his brother's candy and his father's new tie. Eventually, Eddie returns home feeling guilty and scared about his choice, and his father welcomes him home with open arms. Charlie is confused why his dad has been so forgiving and welcoming to Eddie. Kids will learn about sin, grace, and God's unconditional love of God, as well as the dangers of self-rightousness. Includes a "Note to Grownups" that provides advice as they guide their kids through the story. Hardcover, 40 pages. Recommended for ages 3 to 7 years old.
