Norman Blackaby, a Dallas Baptist University professor, teaches in the PhD program for the Graduate School of Leadership. In addition, he teaches Old Testament courses for the university's Biblical Studies program. He holds a PhD in biblical backgrounds and archaeology. Previously, he served as senior pastor at two churches, and with his father for six years as vice-president of Blackaby Ministries International. Norman is coauthor of Called and Accountable: Discovering Your Place in God's Eternal Purpose, Called and Accountable 52-Week Devotional, Experiencing Prayer with Jesus, Encounters with God: Transforming Your Bible Study, and a contributor to The Blackaby Study Bible and the "Encountering Bible Study" series.
Gene Wilkes has been senior pastor of Legacy Church for more than 20 years. He shares his teaching ministry with Legacy Church and the community as a resident fellow with B. H. Carroll Theological Institute in the areas of church leadership and New Testament studies. He is an adjunct professor with Dallas Baptist University in the Graduate School of Leadership where he teaches Biblical Servant Leadership. His many books include Jesus on Leadership, My Identity in Christ, and Paul on Leadership. Gene earned his bachelor's degree from Baylor University and his master of divinity and doctor of philosophy in New Testament studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
