Product Description

Why did you choose to read this book description? Is it because of the cool cover? It's okay...we have all judged a book by its cover at one time or another. Or is it because the word Chaos completely describes your life right now? Or maybe, just maybe, you thought the author was awesome and decided this book would be a New York Times Bestseller? Probably not the last scenario. If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with that overwhelming stress weighing down on you. Reality is, there are many people in this world facing hard times: Anxiety, incarceration, loss, addiction, divorce, sickness, and I could go on, but I need this description to fit on the back of the book...
How do we overcome these overwhelming times? Great question. I don't have all the right words, which probably isn't what you want to hear from an author. But I know Who does. His Name is Jesus. And He is the only One Who can bring unexplainable peace in the midst of your Chaos. Whether you are reading this behind prison bars, in the hospital room, at the funeral home, or on the awesome World Wide Web, I hope you choose to read this book. Chaos is inevitable. It comes like a thief in the night- stealing, killing, and destroying all we hold dear. But there is hope. Where the enemy comes to destroy, God comes to rebuild. He comes to restore. He comes to bring life and joy. This book isn't some self-help book. Nor is it an autobiography. It's a collaboration of real people experiencing real pain, learning how to overcome the overwhelming. Jesus isn't just the center of this book. He's the beginning, middle, and end. And spoiler alert: He always wins.

Tell us a little about yourself.  Noah Asher is an award-winning author, business owner, and chaos-survivor. He and his team are committed to bringing Hope, Help, Humor to those who are hurting. Noah Asher speaks at prisons and rehab centers across America. He is also working with some senators on new Re-Entry legislation.     What was your motivation behind this project?  CHAOS: Overcoming the Overwhelming is a special book because it was birthed out of my own chaos. Years ago, I was incarcerated. I lost everything and tried taking my life. Since getting out, I have built a successful consulting firm and I'm now an award-winning author. My chaos wasn't a setback...it was a setup for something greater. I now have the opportunity to work with US Senators on some new re-entry legislation and speak to people in their darkest pits.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Chaos comes in many different forms. For some, illness. For some, loss. For some, addiction. The list is endless (just look at the cover)! But there is great news: While our chaos may look different, we can all overcome. There is not one person left out in this book, because we all experience chaos at some point.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Mark Batterson is my hero! His books are all brilliant. I also enjoy my pastor, Steven Furtick. Lastly, C.S. Lewis is a big inspiration for me.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  All proceeds of this book are used to provide copies inside prison libraries and rehab centers across America. CHAOS: Overcoming the Overwhelming was written to help people find purpose in their pain and in their past. Every book purchased allows the reader to feel inspired as well as someone inside the prison/ rehab system. If you'd like to learn more, follow Noah Asher on Instagram: TheNoahAsher
