Publisher's Description

Every family has relational habits—both positive and negative—that have been passed down from generation to generation. Experienced counselor Beverly Hubble Tauke cites real-life stories and suggests specific “transforming practices” to change family patterns. By putting an end to the cycle of negativity, families can find the joy that God intended for them and enjoy healthy relationships for generations to come. This is a repackage with new title (previous title, [Overcoming the] Sins of the Family, 2004).

Having first read this book when it was first published (under the title Sins of the Family) I have since had many opportunities to engage in deep heart and soul-searching discussions with family members some painful, some revealing and informative, but all healing in there own way. As a family we have discovered many truths that, although we grew up and were living under the same roof, we had no joint knowledge of. My recommendation is that, if at all possible, each member of the family have their own copy of Healing Your Family Tree to read prayerfully, mark, and notate, and then to begin to discuss events, thoughts, feelings, concerns with each other. You will be amazed at what you uncover.
