Shirley5 Stars Out Of 5A Change of AffectionMarch 11, 2020ShirleyAn excellent book that I read and enjoyed so much that I now recommend it frequently to others when the topic of same-sex attraction comes up. It is the author's story of how having encountered the holiness and mercy of Christ he clearly recognized he could no longer live counter to God's design. It is inspiring how God transformed his affection for pursuing fleeting moments of pleasure to a much deeper and lasting affection for living instead for His Lord who satisfies one's deepest longing for love and acceptance. I buy copies and give them away and keep recommending the book as it gives one insight, heart and hope for those caught in a lifestyle that fails to deliver what only relationship with our Maker is able to provide. Read it not only to fascinate you, but to also inspire your heart to worship God's transforming power and to move you to pray that others might encounter the Savior likewise.

Christy5 Stars Out Of 5True story of redemption and transformationApril 12, 2022ChristyBecket's story is an honest one of God's work of redemption and transformation that can encourage every believer. His book is an easy read and one that I just couldn't put down (I finished it in a day... which really never happens). Becket is living proof that the power of the Gospel is real and transformative. He thoughtfully and powerfully refutes the idea that we can be Christians and still follow after our own hearts and self-centered desires. "If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me..." (I will add one word of caution. Becket describes an event that happened to him that is a bit graphic in my opinion so read it first and use caution when considering younger readers.)

Sarah5 Stars Out Of 5Change of AffectionOctober 2, 2023SarahChange of Affection becomes a change of heart. I am glad there are people like you who have been rebellious in the past, but can it be turned into a good? Yes. Romans 8:28-29 and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, for whom he did foreknow, he also predestined to be confronted to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn upon many brethren.
