A well written story but my objection is theological. Casey tells Jamie that his dad is in heaven because, "Your dad was a good Christian man who lived the best life he could." When Jamie asks if Chance is good enough for heaven, she answers, "I am sure God sees the good things Chance does and they count." Where in the Bible does it tell us that we get to heaven by good works? (Jesus wasted his time coming to earth??) Does that mean an atheist who lives a reasonable life is welcomed into heaven but the repentant thief on the cross is kept out? From the garden of Eden, we have been shown that we need a sacrifice to pay our blood debt. Jesus came to earth to be our perfect substitute even John 3:16 says that belief in Jesus will give us everlasting life, with all the other verses, 'saved by faith, not works lest anyone should boast' etc. Of course we want to do good - to love God is to hate evil, but that is not what saves us. The rich man in hell loved his brothers. The Pharisees did some good works, but it didn't save them as they rejected Christ.

I had difficulty putting this story down. Wonderful descriptions of Wyoming where I have never been.

A wonderful inspirational romance that could have great spin-offs with other stories of love, compassion and forgiveness. I really hope Lucy writes Justin and Kyles stories as well. I read the eBook. i highly recommend.
