Applying bible knowledge should be the goal of ANY study bible. This bible has excellent footnotes, particularly for Old Testament scripture. We our family was involved with Teen Challenge over the years, a relative worked (Pastor) at TSC. This bible reflects current bible teaching from a Pentecostal viewpoint with emphasis on holiness TO PLEASE GOD. Our mother was a ZBI grad before WWII, lived in Brooklyn NY awhile. ANY study bible should be approached to LEARN MORE about GOD, to seriously break any bad habits thru God's help in a person's life, and apply bible knowledge TO CHRISTIAN LIVING.

This product is better than expected for contect, yet rates a C to D grade for layout. WROTE FEDERAL PROFESSIONAL REPORTS for the military and Government, attended Stanford, and our family grew up Grad from Christian schools incl college. Took doc design more recently grad school in Chicago. Again, excellent, but poor layout. Still gave 5 of 5, rating :) seriously, FOR CONTENT.

this bible follows pentecostal, teaching christians become saints not sinners when they get saved, KING JAMES BIBLE version I COR. chapter 1 read it. JESUS's view of SALVATION. Mom had higher grades, THAN 3 STANFORD UNIVERSITY Profs, class of Zion's 1941, reference person on this Dr. Paul Finkenbinder. Black friend from Zion Rev. Herro, in her class, etc. GET SAVED, then follow JESUS as HE alone is the real Son of MAN and real king. I am a Sangamon State Univ. grad and our family are grads of a Christian high school in IL, Wesleyan Methodist and ZION PRESIDENT, relative of ours Dr, BEN. ... oh, and she lived in Brooklyn.... :)

I love this translation and cannot say enough about it. It is easy to read, put in not just the words but the sentence structure we use today. Many verses are combined. In Numbers 1, there are 24 verses combined, making reading the Old Testament far less redundant.

And then there is the outstanding footnotes! They are the same large print size as the Bible, which is very rare. The study notes help me immensely enjoy and understanding reading God's Word.

As a Teen Challenge alumni, this is exciting to have. I am so grateful for Jesus rescuing me and transforming me through His Word by His Spirit in the ministry of Teen Challenge. All glory to God!!! It is great to study the Word with Pastor Wilkerson's notes, feeling connected to the TC family in my every day life and walk with the Lord. Thank you.
