KatyAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great ResourceNovember 2, 2011KatyAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love this study guide! I'm using it in a discipleship group. It gives you the perfect amount of daily scripture reading for developing the discipline of a quiet time in the word each day. We talk about each chapter/ discipline from the main book when meet each week. Reading a book is good but we must be in God's word daily, and this study guide helps you read what God says about the disciplines. Foster's insight in the book is incredible but it is supplemental to the foundation of scripture on the subject.

The COD has been such a blessing for encouragement and growth. I now pastor a small, rural church in Alabama. I use the COD study guide for our new members/new believers class. We give each member a copy of this book to help fuel their initial spiritual growth. Great book. Highly recommended!
