Publisher's Description

Miracles, signs and wonders happen today Countless people the world over testify to God's miraculous power and intervention in their lives. While personal testimony is inspiring to many, for others, it's simply not sufficient. Cessationsim says that the supernatural gifts of the Spirit ceased when the New Testament was complete; This is a common belief held by many clergy and laity alike. This book challenges that misconception and seeks to scripturally demonstrate that these supernatural gifts have not and will not cease until Christ returns.

Author/Artist Review

Author: Mark Anderson

Tell us a little about yourself.  I've been involved in a preaching/teaching ministry since 1990. Ministry is mainly to churches and fellowships, but I've also ministered overseas in places like Malaysia, Ukraine and Sri Lanka. I've been on Christian radio and television also.

What was your motivation behind this project?  To help equip the layperson to articulately defend this wonderful truth from Scripture and also to stimulate interest and create a hunger among cessationists.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Truth about the Holy Spirit and His gifts and how the beliver and the church can experience and facilitate the gifts of the Spirit.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I was challenged in the use and tone of language to help make this somewhat controversial topic interesting and appealing.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My dad, Sam Storms, Gordon Fee, Wayne Grudem, Craig Keener, D.A. Carson

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Try to cast aside presuppositions and approach reading with an open but yet discerning mind.
