Product Description
▼▲Although Strobel does not interview any "hostile" witnesses, he exposes readers to the work of some major origins researchers (including Jonathan Wells, Stephen Meyer and Michael Behe) and theistic philosophers (including William Lane Craig and J. P. Moreland). Strobel claims no expertise in science or metaphysics, but as an interviewer he makes this an asset, prodding his sources to translate jargon and provide illustrations for their arguments.

▼▲Strobel, best-known for writing Case for Christ, Case for Faith, and Case for a Creator, is well-qualified to write this book. He does an admirable job of explaining difficult scientific concepts in a way that children can understand, and the use of cartoon illustrations engages young readers attention. Kids will also enjoy the four short fiction stories at the end of the book that demonstrate a few of the principles Strobel has earlier explained.
Through this book, Strobel seeks to prove Genesis 1:1that in the beginning God really did create the heavens and the earth. This book will be a valuable tool for parents or teachers seeking to enlighten children who are asking questions about creation or evolution. However, though most concepts are explained well, a few terms may still be difficult for younger kids to grasp. I recommend this book for children in upper elementary or early junior high.
