These thoughts race through Paul Addison's mind as he finds himself forcibly removed from a ferry taking him on a business trip and taken hostage by Caribbean pirates. Though he had taken the trip as an escape from ongoing issues with his wife and children, he winds up unintentionally separated, wondering if he will ever see home again. Though Paul eventually escapes the pirates' grasp, he washes up on the shore of a seemingly deserted island. Stranded, hungry, and drowning in despair, Paul begins to believe he may die alone and unloved by his own family. As he stumbles through the tropical paradise trying to survive, Paul discovers that his deserted island is actually inhabited by a small village of people tucked away in the mountains. They welcome him with open arms, and he is immediately relieved to find civilization but even more surprised to find a group of people whose life philosophy centers around sacrifice, love, and forgiveness. Will Paul be able to forsake his old, selfish routine and grasp the chance to escape the life of loneliness and regret? Find out in Jennah Sontag's suspenseful and exciting story, Captured Escape.
