Deb5 Stars Out Of 5January 9, 2009DebI loved this book! I agree with the other reviewer who said that the title describes it perfectly. As a survivor, I try to make myself available to others who are newly diagnosed and I have purchased a copy of this book to put into thier hands at the earliest possible opportunity.
Cindy C5 Stars Out Of 5November 16, 2006Cindy CThe title says it all. Practical Help - Spiritual Hope. This book is excellent. Informative but not overwhelming. Inspirational with great Scripture quotes throughout.
Ask a Question▼▲
Q: Would this book work for someone who has only been given 6months to a year to live? Does it talk about Jesus and salvation? Shelly
The author states, "This book is about God and how He deals with His children in the most difficult of circumstances. It's about how He alone sees the end from the beginning and how He works every detail of our lives together for our good and His glory." It offers spiritual encouragement and practical steps in dealing with cancer treatments. It comes more from the perspective of those that have already committed their lives to Christ, but could also enlighten those who have not, to the hope we have in Christ. Chapter 9 "Spiritual Questions, Scriptural Answers" covers the human condition, eternal answers and giving up demands.
