Joel Osteen expresses many qualities of a winner in this book. Covering many every day life topics. It is very inspiring. I have given this book as a gift to people that I think it would help. I have read all of Joel's books and think they are all excellent; including this one.
Joel Osteen shares eight undeniable qualities of winners that can help you reach your potential and achieve new levels of success in your life. Although I agree with Joels eight qualities, one in particular stands out to me. Not because I think its the most important quality, but, working as a professional in the real world, KNOW first hand, the following to be true:
We live in a society in which mediocrity is the norm. Many people do as little as they can to get by. They dont take pride in their work or in who they are. If somebody is watching, they may perform one way, but when nobody is watching theyll cut corners and take the easy way out. If you re not careful, you can be pulled into this same mentality where you think its okay to show up late to work, to look less than your best, or to give less than your best. But God doesnt bless mediocrity. God blesses excellence.
Commit to Excellence
Not only does Joel identify the necessary qualities, he provides stories of individuals who put them into practice and reached a level of success they wouldnt have otherwise. Joel encourages you to participate in the process, be patient, and never give up.
