Author/Artist Review

Author: Fritz A. Fonocho
Located in: Houston, Texas
Submitted: November 25, 2014

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am married with three kids. I have a degree in Accounting and another degree in Wildlife Management. I was a game warden in Africa. When it comes to writing, I have always had top grades since grade school.

What was your motivation behind this project?  My driving motivation behind the book was an acknowledgement of the misunderstandings that frequently transpire in conversations between natural born Americans and recent immigrants. The hope here is that the book helps humanize immigrants and makes their transition more palatable to Americans.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  The hope is that both sides of the equation will find cultural differences as attributes to be cherished and embraced rather than abnormalities to be abhorred and ridiculed.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  Long sleepless hours and intense research.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  The hard working immigrants who are busily chasing their American dreams like everybody else.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  So far, in less than two months since the book's release, the reviews have been very uplifting. I hope future readers find the book entertaining.
