Tell us a little about yourself. I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. For the past 25 years, I have been a social worker and youth minister in the Cincinnati area. I have a strong faith and my passions are mentoring and travel.
What was your motivation behind this project? I have mentored many people before, but this was the first time I felt God had called me to mentor this homeless teen. I was receiving mysterious cell phone signals that guided my interactions and eventually led me to help him purchase a home.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? hopefully, to increase their own faith, to open their hearts in case God is asking them to take a chance on someone. And to be mindful of others who can use a mentor or friend.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I went through a spiritual awakening shortly after publishing this book.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I like all Christian books. They inspire me. One of my favorites now is Jesus Calling- ironically, its very similar in title to mine.
