Devotions written as if Jesus is speaking directly to a child's heart.
Based on her original Jesus Calling, this version has been adapted in a language and fashion that kids and tweens can relate to their everyday lives.
After many years of writing in her prayer journal, missionary Sarah Young decided to listen to God with pen in hand, writing down what she believed He was saying to her through Scripture. Others were blessed as she shared her writings, until people all over the world were using her devotionals. They are written from Jesus point of view, thus the title Jesus Calling. It is Sarahs fervent prayer that our Savior may bless readers, and now young readers, with His presence and His peace in ever deeper measure.
Meets national education standards.

Joy5 Stars Out Of 5Jesus Calling: 365 Devotions for kidsJanuary 6, 2016JoyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I got this for a 2nd grade Chinese boy living with me. We just started it January 1 ( 5 days ago) and he can read it and understands most of the words. He reads the Scripture references from my NASB . I am very pleased with this as I thought it might be to hard for a 7 year old. I like the way it is written and the application for children--and if you read it with them it can also bring conviction to an adult heart. I had no idea what to expect- but it was better than what I thought it might be.-

It is easy to read & understand and yet very much the same message as the one I read. I highly recommend it - every child should have a copy of JESUS CALLING for children!
