Devotions written as if Jesus is speaking directly to a child's heart.
Based on her original Jesus Calling, this version has been adapted in a language and fashion that kids and tweens can relate to their everyday lives.
After many years of writing in her prayer journal, missionary Sarah Young decided to listen to God with pen in hand, writing down what she believed He was saying to her through Scripture. Others were blessed as she shared her writings, until people all over the world were using her devotionals. They are written from Jesus point of view, thus the title Jesus Calling. It is Sarahs fervent prayer that our Savior may bless readers, and now young readers, with His presence and His peace in ever deeper measure.
Meets national education standards.
Sarah Young, the author of the bestselling 365-day devotionals Jesus Always and Jesus Calling®, has sold more than 22 million books worldwide. Jesus Calling® has appeared on all major bestseller lists. Sarahs writings include Jesus Calling®, Jesus Today™, Jesus Lives™, Dear Jesus, Jesus Calling® for Little Ones, Jesus Calling® Bible Storybook, Jesus Calling®: 365 Devotions for Kids, and Peace in His Presence, each encouraging readers in their journeys toward intimacy with Christ. Sarah and her husband were missionaries in Japan and Australia for many years. They currently live in the United States.

Sarah5 Stars Out Of 5AMAZING bookAugust 31, 2017SarahQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We LOVE this book. It is a great family devotional that points the kids (and us!) towards the loving heart of our Savior every morning. It focuses on God's love, his truth, and Biblical promises, and I love that it's not about religious ideas or man's tradition. It is covenant truth (he wants good things for us, not "he'll give you cancer to teach you a lesson" kind of stuff), and it's so refreshing to have found a devotional for our family that is truth-focused instead of religion focused. It speaks to my husband and I almost as much (or more!) than to the kids; we are often blown away by how it is on point every day for where we are at. I would give 10 stars if I could!
