I really enjoyed this book. I (as a guy) took a chance on this book hoping that it wouldnt be too girly or a chick-book. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was written from both the guys (Calebs) and the girls (Kates) perspectives. From the moment they meet at the prom and their feeling start to develop between them, I was hooked. This writer is very talented and has a unique way of bringing out the characters thoughts and emotions in a way that seems to take you into the moment. There is a spiritual underlined aspect and seems to keep the main characters in-check so to speak with their feelings and desires for one another. This part I like because it showed realism of what us teens go through at this age dealing with the opposite sex.The only negative thing, is I had a little trouble following certain parts because it seemed a little choppy to me. Now I am not an avid reader or someone who has a high reading level, so maybe it was just me. I know that this book will mainly attract teen girl readers, but I would highly recommend it for you guys out there. Like I said Im not and avid reader, but once I got into it, I didnt want to put it down as I couldnt wait to see what was going to happen next with Caleb & Kate.
