C. S. Lewis' story is a very heart-warming story and the movie Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins was excellent. I'm sorry this one wasn't as good, quality-wise.
KennGrand Rapids MIAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Best portrayal of CS LewisFebruary 27, 2013KennGrand Rapids MIAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5At the CS Lewis Institute in the Wash DC area in a presentation on CS Lewis his stepson Douglas Grisham said that Joss Ackland gave an accurate portrayal of Lewis.
He went on to say that Debra Winger in the Hollywood version of Shadowlands gave the best portayal of his mother[she recieved an Academy Award nomination for her work]. I have both versions of the Shadowlands and think this one is the best.
Felicia Brown4 Stars Out Of 5September 15, 2010Felicia BrownThis movie was a tear jerker. For those who have questioned their faith and what they really believe, in the midst of difficult times. This movie gives you an incite to the fraility of men and the strength they can come to receive from God our Father.
