She describes the High Road, the Misty Flats and the Low Road and how God took her on a journey from the Misty Flats to the High Road. She came from a Christian home but it did not take long for a university professor to make her question her faith... this is the story of her journey back. Would recommend this book for everyone.. especially young people headed out from their parents teaching.

I have finally gotten around to reading it and have found that Isobel Kuhn is a new favorite of mine. I would highly recommend this book to others. In this book, Isobel Kuhn tells of her journey to faith in Christ and the struggles that she encountered along the way. The book ends with her leaving to go to China as a missionary.

Charles Erway5 Stars Out Of 5hard to put down, fast paced auto bioApril 23, 2011Charles ErwayQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Recently read Green Leaf in Drought By Isobel and knew I wanted to read up on her. There was no disappointment in this little book. "You will find Me when you search for Me with your whole heart." She searched and she found. "By Searching" is so much better than fiction!
Lynnda Ell5 Stars Out Of 5March 4, 2010Lynnda Ell"By Searching" is an excellent memoir of Isobel Miller Kuhn's early adult years. The premis is that three possible paths exist: the high road, the misty flats, and the low road. MRs. Kuhn's story is how she found herself on the misty flats and gradually approached the low road. In a series of events, she recounts how God set her on the high road and led her on the path of becoming a missionary in China, a wife, and a mother. The The quality of the story is entrancing and her skill in writing it is compelling.
