Tell us a little about yourself. I am a retired Elementary Principal of 21 years and an educator for 38+. It is my passion to help children find their voice and know who they are in Christ.
What was your motivation behind this project? The bullying problem is not new. We have had bullies since Cain killed Abel. What is new is the victim mentality that has become the pervasive norm. Children are not taught to find their voice and speak up for themselves. My goal is to help parents in particular to build an inner strength and sense of self-worth in their children so that they know who they are.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Children and all victims of bullying will find their voice and be victims no more
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? As an Elementary Principal, I gave away copies of my books to families who were dealing with a bully to help their children find their voice and not feed the bullying behavior.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I am inspired by any stories of people who find their inner strength and overcome obstacles and barriers to growth
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I am available to provide workshops for parents and teachers.
