Tell us a little about yourself. I am a recently retired Elementary Principal of 21 years and an educator for 38+ years. I am also the mother of three and a grandmother of one and another on the way!
What was your motivation behind this project? As a victim of bullying in my own childhood, I did not learn to find my voice and stand up for myself until I reached adulthood. I believe that if children learn these skills earlier, a happier life will ensue.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Helping children learn to cope with difficult people is a lifelong and invaluable strength.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Helping children find their voice is my passion. Helping parents raise confident children who know who they are in Christ is my purpose.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? God is my partner in writing -- always!!
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I am available for workshops and trainings for parents and teachers.
