The main character traits covered in this grade are joy, trust, humility, and compassion. The main Bible Survey topics focus on the Egyptian captivity, Moses and the exodus, the wilderness wanderings, Joshua and the Judges of Israel. The Summit Building on the Rock series is designed to help elementary students develop a Christian worldview from an early age. This curriculum is an integrated biblical worldview and Bible survey course that teaches students to view the world through four relationships: with the Creator, with each other, with ourselves, and with His creation.
