Tell us a little about yourself. Julie Anshasi is a Midwest author who loves Jesus Christ. She gets her inspiration from the Lord, and her desire is to draw closer to Him. She believes that growing in the Lord is a daily choice, and our focus is to be on Him, who is the author and the finisher of our faith.
What was your motivation behind this project? These poems were given to me by the Holy Spirit, as the title implies, over a five-year period. They are a wide range of styles, from free-form to metered. They bless me, as the author, even more than they bless the reader.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I pray that people will reflect on the goodness of God, how much He loves us, and His beauty and majesty.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? It was such a blessing to me. These poems are truly supernatural, in the sense that there is no way I could have written them myself. I thank God for His inspiration and gifts to me.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My pastors are the greatest inspiration to me. I have never met two people who love Him more.
