Publisher's Description

The heart of a mom is wrapped up in the people she loves -- her children, her husband, her co-workers, her friends. She wants to give them the very best of herself, but sometimes her busy schedule gets in the way of the most precious gift she can give them -- her prayers.

With this unique tried-and-proven prayer system, even the busiest moms can have a rich prayer life that impacts the people she loves the most. Author Lisa Whelchel offers seven categories of prayer that can be used as they are or modified to fit each mom's special needs. By investing just ten minutes a day, in one month, a mom can bring nearly one hundred and fifty matters before her heavenly Father. From requests for her childrens' protection to wisdom in her personal life to praise for God's constant faithfulness, this simple plan brings order and purpose to prayer.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Having gone thru a divorce and a remarriage, Sandy's book was a blessing to me, and it ministered to me in many ways. I felt she was very candid in sharing her story. It is one I will definitely keep.

Although Sandi's fall from grace initially disappointed me, I must say that after reading through this book I recognized her great courage and vulnerability in sharing her story. God is in the business of forgiving and restoration - what a hope we all have for our less public, but not inconsequential, falls from grace. Thank-you, Patti, for showing us how to come back with humility and dignity.

This book was the best book I have ever come across. Sandy Patty is one Christian artist that I really enjoy listening to and I think she did do everything right. I will continue to pray for her. All the questions I had she answered.

Sandi has done what she has done for years this time in writing...she has exposed her soul and this is why she touches lives! You will laugh, cry and worship at the grace of God. Great for leaders who do not know what to do with family who miss the mark. Read and be blessed!
