Return to two of Colleen Cobles most beloved settingsBluebird Ranch and Hope Beachfor holiday romance and mystery!
All Is Calm
Its going to be an unexpectedly romantic Christmas at Bluebird Ranch.
Brendan Waddell has always considered Bluebird Ranch a little piece of heaven: an idyllic ranch that pairs abused children with abused horses, run by one of his Marine buddies. Now, it seems just the place to spend Christmas recovering from an on-the-job injury.
Lauren Everman first came to the ranch as a foster kid, but now knows its the perfect hideout. As the witness to a murder, Lauren needs somewhere to lie low. Her beauty immediately catches Brendans attentionbut so does her secretive behavior. This Special Ops Intel man knows a woman on the run when he sees one. Can he trust her, or is she putting the ranch at risk? One thing is certain: hes going to do everything he can to keep her safe so he can see what magic Christmas brings.
All Is Bright
A romantic Christmas wedding at Tidewater Inn gives Delilahs unique gifts a chance to shine. But will her light be snuffed out before the bride and groom say "I do"?
As manager of the Tidewater Inn, Delilah Carter has been planning a spectacular Christmas wedding for her friend, Elin Summerall. But when Delilahs car is forced off the road and into the ocean, she finally has to admit that the strange phone calls shes been receiving lately may be more than just pranks.
Sheriff Tom Bourne has always had a soft spot for Delilah, and hes determined to protect her. He hopes to win her heart by giving her the surprise gift of a lifetime . . . but first he has to make sure nothing happens to her before Christmas Day.
Its the season of miracles. But will both Elin and Delilah get the ones they need this holiday season?

I think the story was rushed. It could have been a whole lot better. I think there were some editing problems as well.

There was just the right touch of romance and suspense to make it interesting and compelling reading. I couldn't put down All is Bright. It is refreshing to read good writing that doesn't need profanity or shocking scenes to sell. A good story doesn't need that. It sells itself. Good job, Colleen Coble. I'll be back for more.
BeckBeck4 Stars Out Of 5Great read!January 12, 2016BeckBeckQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I enjoyed Colleen Coble's book of two Christmas novellas, All Is Calm, All Is Bright. The book was a quick read with a fast paced story line that I kept me entertained.
The first novella is about Lauren Everman, an avid horse trainer who has a checkered past and witnesses a crime. No one believes her, so she decides to change towns in the dead of night carrying a horse with her that she leaves a check for on her nightstand. She arrives at Bluebird Ranch that welcomes foster children. She begins a new life there until someone figures out she knows to much. A guest of the ranch owners arrives and sparks begin to fly along with danger at each turn for Lauren.
The second novella was my favorite. All Is Bright is about Delilah Carter who is the manager at Tidewater Inn in Hope Beach, North Carolina. Right from the beginning of the story, Delilah's car is rammed into the ocean. She barely survives. With the help of the local sheriff, Tom Bourne, the two become intermingled in mystery and make it a point to find who wants to kill Delilah.

These are novellas from two of previous book settings, the Bluebird Ranch and Tidewater Inn, and yes we have met some of these characters before, so you are in for a real treat.
There is romance, weddings, and reuniting with old friends, and of course, danger around each corner, and not know where it is coming from. Who or whom would want to kill these sweet people? It takes awhile to find out, and while there are a few hints along the way, you still keep wondering and hoping no one we love will be murdered.
Pick this one up for a time when you want to savor and have a little time for reading, you can read each one in a single sitting, but all can be read alone. Enjoy.
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson and was not required to give a positive review.
