Author Bio

Gertrude Chandler Warner was born in Putnam, Connecticut, on April 16, 1890. From the age of five, she dreamed of becoming an author. She wrote stories for her grandfather, and each Christmas she gave him one of these stories as a gift. Today, Ms. Warner is best remembered as the author of The Boxcar Children Mysteries.

Shane Clester is a dedicated, passionate, and trusted illustrator largely focused on children’s books. He has been fortunate to work with great people on great properties such as Sesame Street, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Illumination, and Nickelodeon, among others. Shane is also the lucky father to two amazing kids who inspire and motivate him every day.
