AW1 Stars Out Of 5PuzzledJune 14, 2016AWQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I found the DVD material shallow and too Americanised to benefit a non-US audience. I was disappointed I paid so much to ship it over. I would recommend sticking to the book.
Marti1 Stars Out Of 5Very DisappointingOctober 25, 2014MartiQuality: 3Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1This new updated version of the Boundaries Video series is extremely disappointing. I facilitated this class several times back in 1994 or 1995. Those original videos are between 27 and 37 minutes long and taught the material in the Boundaries book. There is not a session that is 10 minutes long in this new series! They are nothing more than introductions to a discussion of the book and not worth any amount of money and useless, in my opinion. Using the Study Guide and the book would serve you much, much better. Even the questions and discussion suggestions in the Participant Guide to the Video Kit are useless. Don't buy it! If you can find the old series, you will be much, much happier and educated on the subject of Boundaries. BTW-I am passionate about this topic. I would say it "saved my life" back in the 90s.

It's a short 8 to 10 minute persession video. Not so much for just personal use.

Jimmy Williams- Jr.5 Stars Out Of 5Applies Biblical prinicples to the real worldApril 13, 2012Jimmy Williams- Jr.Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I am leading the small group in my church through this curriculum. I have been overwhelmed at the positive response from men and women, mature and teen. This impacts the lives of everyone, whether they have poor boundaries or live with someone who does. Drs. Cloud and Townsend penned a classic with this book, and it continues its impact in the small group setting.
Q: Boundaries Leader's Guide Is there an updated leader's guide? We have an older version, but not the leader's guide with the "pencil" cover.
The leader's guide comes with the DVD and is not sold separately.
Q: we're confused about what to order We plan to use "Boundaries" for our small group Bible Study. What should we order? For sure we would like to order the DVD. Then should we order workbook or participant's guide? should we order and read the "Boundaries" book also? Do we need to read the book before we meet for the Bible Study? Do we need to do the "homeworks" before each meeting?Thank you in advance for responding.
The "Boundaries Participant's Guide" is designed to accompany the DVD course. The workbook is designed for use with the book only. Reading of the book along with the course is optional. No homework is assigned before the first session, but is assigned between sessions.
