Ebos Aifuobhokhan4 Stars Out Of 5A Second Chance At Love.March 29, 2021Ebos AifuobhokhanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I loved the book for 2 reasons.
1. Denise Hunter is one of my favourite Christian romance author.
2. The book had a bookshop in it and my God that was a super plus for me.
3. The absolutely gorgeous cover.
Swoony and amazing book. The growth the characters went through was very inspiring and had various lessons to be learnt.
Denise Hunter is a very skilled writer and this books was no exception. The story was simple but yet profound.
Forgiveness, a second chance at love never looked better liked it looked in this book.
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and this is my honest opinion. -
LisaK4 Stars Out Of 5A Sweet Second Chance RomanceMarch 25, 2021LisaKQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I enjoyed Bookshop by the Sea. It's a good, clean second chance romance that had me pulling for the characters throughout. I liked Sophie Lawson and Aiden Maddox, and wanted things to turn out well for them. They both had growing to do, and that aspect of the story moved at a good, steady pace. I think there's a good lesson about selflessness in this book: How easy it is for truly selfless people to be taken advantage of, and the importance of guarding against that. I also think we can learn a lot about trust from Aiden, especially. There were several moments in the book where I could feel the sadness of the moment, which indicates I was emotionally involved in the story. There's a spiritual element running through the story that I particularly liked. Overall, I think you'll find Bookshop by the Sea satisfying, and you'll love the setting. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Netgalley, but I'll be purchasing a copy to add to my ever-growing Denise Hunter collection. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I am a Denise Hunter fan. I never miss one of her books. She is back in the Carolinas for this offering. Sophie and Aiden broke up seven years ago when he left. He was only one of her dreams that were shattered. Now Aiden is back for a wedding and a hurricane strands them together, which forces them to explore their issues.
Beautifully told, Hunter explores hearts that have held long and painful hurts. Hurts which have impacted their lives in many ways. How can they find their way back to each other and healing? Populated with good characters and a poignant story, this is one for the keeper shelf. Recommended.

VVV5 Stars Out Of 5The Perfect Beach Read!February 27, 2021VVVQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5I just finished reading Bookshop By The Sea and really loved it with its setting in a quaint little beach town, its wonderful townspeople and especially the appealing main characters, Aiden and Sophie. The second chance romance trope was given a fresh spin by the author, Denis Hunter, who made me feel all the feels of this couple who are so in love. The problem is that each of them is weighed down by some baggage that needs to be acknowledged and addressed before they can sustain a permanent relationship. But have no fear! There is a very satisfying and sigh-worthy happily-ever-after that will leave you oh so happy. It's a winner that would make a perfect beach read. Highly recommend! I received a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in this voluntarily-given review are my own.
