I'm able to underline printed text when pages are not completely flat in an open book.

I ordered four of these rulers so I would have extras if needed. These were perfect for marking Bibles, especially when marking something near the gutter where the pages curve in toward the spine. I was using a clear stiff ruler before, but these make marking Bibles so much easier (plus they are inexpensive: If you lose one they're cheap to replace). I suspect these would be difficult to break, unlike the hard plastic rulers.

This is by far my favorite ruler to underlining the text. I also like that it has a scalloped edge to create underlines or boxes that stand out. It bends easy enough, but it isn't flimsy.

Good idea! It really works well in my bibles with flex covers, as a bookmark and a straight edge for underlining.

No more adjusting your Bible to your ruler. Now the ruler molds to the Bible. I love it and have ordered more. If you like to underline with a ruler this is so much easier to use than the inflexible kind.
