Learn a great deal about the world in the pre-Hitler as well as the WWII time.
Scary part, much of it sounds like current events in the church and in various parts of the world.
I Highly recommend this book.
Especially for our African friends, or any country prone to dictatorial rule.

Jan WillemThe Netherlands, EuropeAge: 35-44Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Impressive German perspective on the Third ReichMay 14, 2013Jan WillemThe Netherlands, EuropeAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4The story about Bonhoeffer is impressive in itself, but the book surprised me by also telling the story of the Germans in the Third Reich: their doubts and their collaboration and the horrors of the Nazi regime that slowly became known.
A small disappointment about this book for me is that although the book speaks of Bonhoeffer as part of "the conspiracy" against Hitler, it does not really make clear what exactly was his role in this conspiracy.
