Tell us a little about yourself. My wife Gwendy and I have served as a church planting missionary with SEND for the past 25 years. Twenty if those have been in a small First Nations community in Northern Canada. we have seen the Lord do some amazing things as we have trusted Him.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to share how God works as we trust Him. it usnt always easy. sometimes it tskes shooting yourself in the knee, running out of gas, or even leaving what is comfortable for God to teach us how trustworthy He really is.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope through this memoir that people will develop a deeper trust in who God is.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I knew i had to trust God in big things but I never realized until I sat down to write how many times in my life that God was trying to get me to trust Him completely.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My influences are Ron Hutchcraft and his recwnt book on Hope in adversity. i love his down to earth presentarion of our never wnding hope in Christ.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: The book speaks for itself, but my desire is for people to be drawn to a deeper faith in who God is and be willing to step out in simple trust and find that "Blessed is he who trusts the Lord."
