Publisher's Description

Birds in My Mustard Tree is a six-week small group study that looks at the subject of faith as an active, growing part of our walk with God. This study begins with a review of the concept of faith that leads to lessons on exercising faith, amazing faith, shattered faith, resting in faith, and a stronger faith. The author examines several heroes of faith in the Bible and adds modern anecdotes along with her personal stories to make this process result in a solid faith in God. Faith may begin as a mustard seed, but the goal is to expand it until we have birds roosting on our mustard tree of faith.

Tell us a little about yourself.  I reside in Nevada. I am an coast-to-coast speaker who believes that God grows our faith as we travel the path of everyday life.

My husband, Mark, and I love to travel and fish. My all time favorite hobby is reading. I guess I could be called a workaholic.

My two granddaughters live in Minnesota and my grandson live close by me in Nevada. They are the delight of my life.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I have struggled with seed size faith throughout my Christian walk. However, what I have discovered that God is faithful to grow our faith. His goal is make life experience prove His goodness and glory.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I pray that those who buy and complete this study will realize that faith is a process. Believe God and He will increase your faith until it is greater than you could imagine.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I found that as I wrote this study I was forced to look deep inside of myself. What I found as I researched and wrote is that God has always been faithful to His word in my life.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My favorite authors are Oswald Chambers and Philip Yancy.
