Tell us a little about yourself. Connie B. Drumm was born in Oakland, Ca to wonderful Christian parents, Bill & Iva Bloyd and a loving sister, Patsy. In 1971 - 1975 Connie attended and graduated from L.I.F.E Bible college, Los Angeles, CA as a licensed/ordained minister with Foursquare Gospel International. Her ministry included young children and youth minister. Connie retired in 2015 from Department of Homeland Security/FPS, San Francisco, Ca . She is a breast cancer survivor since 2016 and is enjoying life in Oakdale, Ca. with her husband, Tom. Her children include Sally Price, Jeff and Veronica Price and 3 grandsons, Tyler, Trevor, and Trenton Price!

What was your motivation behind this project? Her first writing and published book, Birds Having Church is written with memories of her childhood. Her parents would always tell her and her sister that the birds sitting on the telephone wires, rain or shine, were gathering for church and worshipping God!

What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It teaches the importance of showing kindness, love, and acceptance to all of God's creation, regardless of obvious differences! i want people to be blessed and share the story with others!

How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Truly blessed and reminded of the legacy of love, kindness, and acceptance of all God's creation that my parents left with me and taught me!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My family is my greatest inspiration! Their encouragement and support keeps me going!
