"The Billy Goats Gruff Find Jesus" and "The Three Little Souls" are special and different from other stories because children can relate to them really well, since they are already familiar with the stories of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" and " The Three Little Pigs." Parents and teachers may use these stories to teach the importance of salvation in Christ. Furthermore, they are enjoyable to read and easy for children to understand.Both stories are religiously themed. The first is about the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Near the church, in the shadows, the devil lives. One must cross a bridge to get to the church to learn about salvation in Christ. The second story is designed around the children's classic, "The Three Little Pigs." It is about the Three Little Souls that left home and set out to live their lives in different ways.Marie Ferguson Dockery is married and has two children and six grandchildren. After early retirement from the telephone company as an electronic technician in 1994, she started teaching in a public elementary school. After teaching for 10 years, she retired again in 2005. She was named "Teacher of the Year" in her school in 1998 and again in 2004.Marie graduated at age fifty from Mercer State University, Lithia Springs. GA with a degree in ECE in 1994, and earned her Master's Degree in ECE from West Ga. State College in 1996. Presently, she is employed as a part-time employee of the State University of Kennesaw in Kennesaw, GA as a Supervisor of Student Teachers.She wrote "The Three Billy Goats Gruff Find Jesus" and "The Three Little Souls" while working in a children's church ministry. She is now publishing them for others to read and enjoy.
