The basis of this new edition is to offer readers a translation that reflects fidelity to the meaning of the original texts and to incorporate, in introductions and notes, the contribution of contemporary studies in the linguistic and theological fields that has always characterized the Biblia de Jerusalén from a historical and archaeological standpoint. From this perspective, it continues to maintain its own study Bible identity. Here we present the fifth edition in Spanish of the Biblia de Jerusalén, which has completed its revision in 2018, in continuity with the previous editions of 1967, 1975, 1998 and 2009.
