    This review was written for Bible Workbook Vol. 1 Old Testament - eBook.
    I was so excited to get started on working in this book that I ordered the Ebook instead of waiting on the paper book to come in the mail. Huge mistake. It wont download in Adobe Reader and the app they make you use for the bookstore ereader is slow and not easy to use. Will contact to try to get a refund an purchase the paper version. Will be more cautious in the future when ordering from here.

    Great Workbook

    I appreciate the format. I also appreciate that there are no "cheater" teacher answers. It makes me actually study and read the bible to find the answers and my own assessments. Would like more of the same. Any suggestions would be great.

    Looking for a quick and easy way to study the Old Testament?

    Well Catherine Walkers' Bible Workbook is the perfect resource. For a book with only 67 pages it covers quite a lot.

    This is perfect for beginners and people who are looking for new ways to get into the scripture.

    It's a powerful tool for learning more about the Bible.

    It has an easy to follow format which includes fill in the blanks and sections with things for you to do like memorizing certain scriptures.

    This book can even make an ideal gift.

    PS: I received a copy of this from the publisher. I was in no way required to to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    My first impression when they arrived: they were not what I was expecting. When I hear the word 'workbook', I expect it to be thorough in aiding in understanding. But these books were not so. They are extremely thin and flimsy (roughly only 70 pages in each book).

    So once I opened these books I realize they are the republishing so to speak of book from 60 years ago, so I should not be too surprised at their lack of depth.

    My hope was to find workbooks that I could sink my teeth into. However, I find that I've found base level workbooks. Onse that seem to gloss over some books of the bible with a simple summary while having outlines and questions for others. Then I look at a book like the Psalms and it got all of 1.5 pages, I'm flabbergasted to a degree over the briefness and condensation of a book with over 100 chapters covering a wide range of topics.

    Honestly, I want to say a waste of my time, but then again with children in my house. It is not a waste but I can pass along for them to use in their studies of the bible. I dare say it would also be sufficient for the new believer who would want to lay a foundation of the bible before more in-depth studying.

    {FYI: I received these books from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.}
